Greensboro Bar Association: All of our attorneys are members of the Greensboro Bar Association. John Morgan is currently on the Board of Directors. Dan Koenig is a member of the Greensboro Bar Association’s Community Involvement Committee and served as Family Liaison for the GBA’s Habitat for Humanity Project in 2009-2010. Mark Gaylord served as President of the Greensboro Bar Association during 2003-2004.
North Carolina Bar Association: All of our attorneys are members of the North Carolina Bar Association. Bruce Connors is a past chair of the Business Bankruptcy Committee of the NC Bar Association Business Section, and past chair of the UCC Subcommittee of the Business Section of the NC Bar Association. Dan Koenig is a member of the Litigation Section, the Family Law Section, and the Citizen Lawyer Task Force of the North Carolina Bar Association.
North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA): John Morgan is a member of the NCACPA, on the current board of the NCACPA, and the immediate past president of the NCACPA.
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA): John Morgan is a member of the AICPA Council through 2011. The AICPA determines Institute programs and policies. It has approximately 263 members with representatives from every state and U.S. territory.
Society of Financial Services Professionals (SFSP): SFSP is a multidisciplinary network of credentialed professionals that has been helping individuals, families, and businesses achieve financial security for more than 80 years. Paula Sinozich, Bruce Connors, and John Morgan are all members of SFSP, and Paula is on the Board of Directors and serves as an officer of the Greensboro Chapter.
American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA): The purpose of ABOTA is to foster improvement in the ethical and technical standards of practice in the field of advocacy to the end that individual litigants may receive more effective representation and the general public be benefited by more efficient administration of justice consistent with time-tested and traditional principles of litigation.
Rotary: Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self.
Currently, Paula Sinozich is a member of Rotary clubs in the Greensboro area. Paula has served as newsletter editor, fundraising chair, and is currently on the Board of Directors for Crescent Rotary Club.
Piedmont Business Ethics Award (PBEA): The Piedmont Business Ethics Award was created in 2000 to focus attention on people and companies who choose to do the right thing every day. Paula Sinozich is in her third year as a co-chair of the PBEA.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro: Several of our members volunteer for Habitat projects since Bruce Connors was a member of the Board between 1992 and 1997 and President for the 1994-95 year.
Women’s Professional Forum (WPF): Paula Sinozich is an active member of WPF and is a member of the WPF Foundation Board. The Foundation was established in 1984 by the members of WPF and has been built from their contributions. It commemorates and celebrates Forum members’ accomplishments by providing grants to organizations which serve women. For the past several years, the Foundation’s focus for its grant-giving has been “Nurturing Girls To Be Tomorrow’s Leaders.”
